snout leak

anybody rebuild their jrsc? my jrsc for my gsr is leaking supercharger oil from the snout right by the shaft. i only have 7500 on it and i emailed magnuson for the new bearings and snout seal but they said they don't sell individual parts. i don't want to send it out because of the down time. anybody have any experience with this problem and know where to get the parts to fix it.

you are SOL. There is a blower selling on ebay right now... Blower only, no other parts..

Or suck it up and send it in for warrenty

Cogswell, I don't know if you only called Magnuson, but the warranty deal only works if you send your blower back to JAckson Racing. They forward it onto Magnuson. This is part of the reason why it takes so long for the warranty to be carried out. Magnuson will not honor a Jackson Racing warranty if the blower is sent directly to them. I learned this from Jackson Racing years ago, but if someone else has a different experience, please chime in.

i contacted pse.com and they said it would cost $450 (OUCH) for the rebuild. if i can't find the parts i guess i'm going to have to bend over and take it.
